Traveling is truly an exercise of faith.

We enter an aircraft, sit in a seat, buckle up and at times we fall asleep without knowing who is driving the plane.

This requires a deep sense of trust that the person who is driving is capable of getting you to your destination.

In many instances, this individual is not someone who you know or who you have seen. However, as believers we can always rely on Jesus.

Below is a short but powerful prayer to say for safe travel

Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank you today for everything. I truly appreciate the gift of travel as indeed it is a privilege to be able to go from one place to another.

Thank you for the resources that you have blessed me with and the strength to earn. I do not take what you have done in my life for granted. You are a great and loving father, my Jehovah Jireh, my provider.

Lord, be with me as a travel today from ________________(insert place) to ________________ ( insert destination).  I trust you and believe in your ability to protect and care of me. Be with the pilot and co-pilot.

Work through their lives granting them clarity of thought and mind to execute their jobs effectively. Bless us  with favorable weather so that the flight will be smooth and there will be no turbulence.

Father, I pray the same blessing for any other person today who is travelling all over the world. Give them also a safe flight and grant them mercies so that they can return safely to their families.

Our world today is so unpredictable and anything can happen in the skies. So we rely on your almighty hands to guide and protect our journey.

Remember oh father the remainder of the crew. All those who are checking in, handling baggage and the cabin crew.

Help everything to be on time and seamless and I will not fail to bless and glorify your name, In Jesus Name, Amen.

Prayer For Safe Travel For A Loved One

Our Heavenly Father,

You are the most high God. There is none wiser, greater and more powerful than you.  You reign supreme in the universe.

I can rely on you, I can trust your words and your promises. You are not slack concerning your promises.

According to your word in 2 Corinthians chapter one and verse twenty for all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

Father, I bring my friend/daughter/husband/wife/girlfriend/boyfriend/son _____________(insert name) before you. I pray for mercies and grace as he/she travels today.

Help everything to be smooth with the customs and security checks. Give the crew strength so that they can complete their jobs constructively and successfully.

I have full confidence that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that I can ask or think. Thank you again for your unending grace and mercies, In Jesus Name, Amen.
